Spruced Up offer an introduction to grooming for your puppy over three sessions from 14 weeks old once they are full vaccinated.
Its so important we get right from the start with your puppy hence we gently introduce your puppy to groom over a few shorter sessions.
1st Session – play and fun for 30 minutes. Your puppy will be introduced to all the equipment in a playful way for around 30 minutes. All puppies receive a puppy pack which includes a Greene and Wild toy and other puppy goodies,
2nd Session – Bath and brush where your puppy is slowly introduced to the bath and all our dryers.
3rd Session – Bath, brush and 1st puppy groom -eye trim, sanitary trim, pad and paws trimmed and finally a light first cut
Then we shall agree a follow up groom where will fully introduced your puppy to scissors or clippers according to the coat type and full groom will be completed.
Carry out your puppy’s introduction to the grooming parlour this way then your puppy will be much happier with the sounds of the clipper and driers are familiar to them. The process of your puppy meeting us and having a friendly and trusting experience makes any future trips to the salon a pleasant one.
Please book well in advance for puppy grooming in order that we can sure the parlour is extremely calm and quiet for that all important first visit. The 1st visit is normally booked in as the 1st appointment of the day to ensure that salon is as quiet as possible for your puppy.
